Where will you buy local honey, Colorado cheese or a fresh-baked pie on the Sunday after November 8? South Pearl Street's farmers market has run every Sunday since May 3, and November 8 is its last day of 2026. Its official page lists no winter market to follow it. In Longmont, Boulder County Farmers Markets has announced a two-day Winter Market for December 5 and 6. Arvada's market lists December Saturdays in Olde Town without exact dates.
So the next ten days work like a closing week for Washington Park's two shopping streets. South Pearl and Old South Gaylord have four outdoor dates left between them, all on weekends, starting tomorrow.
- Friday, October 30, 5 p.m. to sundown. The year's last Final Friday art walk, on the 1400 to 1600 blocks of South Pearl.
- Saturday, October 31, 3 to 6 p.m. Trick or Treat Street on the 1000 block of South Gaylord.
- Sunday, November 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The South Pearl Street Farmers Market's second-to-last Sunday, at 1500 S. Pearl St.
- Sunday, November 8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The last market of the season.
Friday Closes Out an Art Walk That Ran Once a Month
Final Friday came back five times this year: June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25 and October 30. The district bills it as a smaller, family-friendly alternative to First Friday art walks. Artists set up on the sidewalk and work on pieces in front of passersby, vintage vendors fill in between them, and there's music up and down the 1400 to 1600 blocks.
The artist rules explain why it stays small. Booths cost $20 per event. Artists bring their own table or props up to 6 feet long and no more than 3 feet deep, and tents aren't allowed. Without tents, every display sits right on the sidewalk, and you're never more than a few steps from an open storefront. The district's page lists street and garage parking.
Those storefronts are the other half of the evening. The South Pearl merchants listed as accepting South Pearl Bucks give a good map of where to eat and drink along the walk:
- Dinner and drinks: Kaos Pizza, Sexy Pizza, Uno Mas Taqueria, Que Bueno Suerte, Jack's on Pearl, Platt Park Brewing, Pearl Wine Company
- Coffee and sweets: Nixon's Coffee, Stella's Coffee, Lavender Coffee, Duffeyroll, Stir-Pan Creamery
- Galleries and framing: Gallery 1505, JJ Cunningham Gallery, RPO Framing
- Shops: Wheelhouse Gifts, Second Star to the Right, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Common Threads, Gracie's Boutique, Hazel, Ruby's Market, Base Camp Cyclery
Sundown in late October comes early, so this last art walk will be the shortest of the five. If you plan on dinner, walk the blocks first and eat after the light goes.
Saturday the Street Party Moves to Gaylord
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so Old South Gaylord's Trick or Treat Street runs in daylight, 3 to 6 p.m. Businesses on the 1000 block hand out candy to trick-or-treaters of every age. This year the organizers added a red carpet with a photographer and a costume contest open to both kids and adults. The district's page promises lights strung overhead and jack-o'-lanterns along the sidewalks.
The block is short, so it's easy to work out where you'll end up once the candy bags are full. Here's what the Old South Gaylord directory lists along it:
| Address | Business | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 1000 S. Gaylord St. | Hawthorne | Furniture, antiques and art |
| 1001 S. Gaylord St. | Homegrown Tap & Dough | Restaurant |
| 1002 S. Gaylord St. | Trunk Show | Shop |
| 1004 S. Gaylord St. | Devil's Food Bakery | Bakery |
| 1014 S. Gaylord St. | Broomtail Kids | Shop |
| 1018 S. Gaylord St. | The Paper Lady | Shop |
| 1020 S. Gaylord St. | The Cookery at Myrtle Hill | Restaurant |
| 1052 S. Gaylord St. | Max Gill & Grill | Restaurant |
| 1061 S. Gaylord St. | Sweet Action Ice Cream | Ice cream |
| 1066 S. Gaylord St. | Perdida | Restaurant |
| 1080 S. Gaylord St. | Uncle Tim's Tasting Room | Listed as "Coming Soon" |
| 1085 S. Gaylord St. | Reiver's Restaurant | Restaurant |
| 1096 S. Gaylord St. | The Wash Park Social | Restaurant |
| 1099 S. Gaylord St. | Wish Gifts | Gifts |
Two of those rows are worth a look if you haven't walked the block lately. Hawthorne sits at the corner address, 1000 S. Gaylord, and sells furniture, antiques and art. Uncle Tim's Tasting Room at 1080 is still marked "Coming Soon," so this Halloween you'll see it from the outside only.
The district hasn't published which businesses will hand out treats. The safest plan is to walk the whole 1000 block between 3 and 6.
Two Sundays Left at 1500 South Pearl
Friday's art walk and Saturday's trick-or-treating are one-night events. The farmers market has been the weekly rhythm since May. The market's page counts more than 170 local vendors across the 1400 and 1500 blocks. The Denver Post's 2026 farmers market guide says Jarman and Co Events runs it. Westword's metro market roundup puts it between East Iowa and East Arkansas avenues. Denverite's market guide notes that it accepts SNAP. One rule catches newcomers every season: no pets.
A good share of the 2026 roster is new this season. If you only made it to the market a few times this summer, November 1 and 8 are your last two chances to try these stalls before spring. The vendor list marks these as new for 2026:
- Cheese: Buck and Bloom Cheese Co, Foliata Cheese, Cheez Me
- Meat: Lost Arrow Buffalo Co
- Baked goods: Legacy Pie, Doughology, Hearth
- Prepared food: Kallisto Modern Mediterranean, Lento Foods, Hipnola
- Pantry and drinks: Boulder Olive Oil Company, Boulder Valley Honey, Dragon Meadery, Denver Sea Moss
- Gifts: Board in a Bag
The returning names are the ones longtime regulars will know: Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs, Ela Family Farm, Miller Farms, Draft Coffee, LoDough Bakery, Full Stop Bakery, Bruna's Brazilian Cheese Bread, Familia Pupusas, Captain Crepes, Five Freedoms Dairy, Antelope Creek Ranch Wagyu and Lucky Bee Cut Flowers.
November 8 Is the Stock-Up Sunday
That brings things back to the opening question. Once South Pearl packs up on November 8, these are the winter markets with something announced:
- Boulder County Farmers Markets Winter Market: December 5 and 6, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, with farmers, ranchers, prepared food, artisans and makers.
- Arvada Farmers Market winter market: Saturdays in December, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Olde Town Square, 5702 Olde Wadsworth Blvd. The page doesn't list specific 2026 dates.
The closest indoor option in recent memory was A Tavola, on South Broadway. Its 2026 season ran Tuesdays, January 13 through March 31, 4 to 7 p.m., at 575 S. Broadway. Axios Denver described it as an indoor market with dozens of local growers and makers. Its site hasn't posted a schedule for this winter yet.
Fresh produce won't keep from November 8 to December, but a lot of the South Pearl roster will. These vendors sell things that hold up through the holidays:
- Honey and preserves: Bjorn's Colorado Honey, Boulder Valley Honey, Madams Jams
- Pantry staples: Boulder Olive Oil Company, Mile High Spice Company, Bob's Roasted Nuts, Boulder Broth
- Bottles: Downslope Distilling, Dragon Meadery, La Famiglia Liqueur
- Gifts: Candle Culturist, Board in a Bag
- A service: Afia Co Sharpening, for knives that need an edge before Thanksgiving
If a holiday table or a gift list depends on a local vendor, November 8 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. is the last time this year that vendor sets up at 1500 S. Pearl. The next winter market with published dates opens four weeks later, at a fairgrounds in Longmont.
Thaddeus here. South Pearl and Old South Gaylord set the weekly rhythm for a lot of Wash Park, and this closing stretch shows it clearly.
